U.S. Barley Farmers Concerned with Freight Train Disruptions at Southern Border

This week U.S. Customs and Border Protection suspended railway operations at international crossings into Texas. And the decision has farmers from barley producing states like Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Washington and Wyoming concerned. That’s because Mexico has become a leading destination for U.S. barley. Montana Grain Growers Association Treasurer Steve Sheffels explains more.
