This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Steady Cash prices continues to drive contracts higher in the Beef Market. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 4 ¾, to finish at 5-88 ¾. Dec. Corn was Up 6, to finish the day at 4-82 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 2, to settle at 7-29.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 6-95 to 7-35. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Nov. were Unch, ranging from 6-85 to 7-05. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were Dn 2, ranging from 7-49 to 7-64. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. was Up 3 ¾, settling at 8-33 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. was Up $1.05, closing at 191.52 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Up $.55, to finish the day at 265.57 ½. Oct. Class III milk was Dn $.42 to settle at 17.12.
