This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Triple digit weather has the Corn Market making significant gains as demand picks up. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 60, to finish at 7-57 ½. Dec. Corn was Up 32, to finish the day at 5-68 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Up 58 ¼, to settle at 9-18 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Up 30 – 35, ranging from 7-30 to 8-10. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Up 10 – 50, ranging from 7-10 to 8-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Up 38 ¼, ranging from 9-18 ½ to 9-48 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Up 49, ranging from 9-86 to 9-96.

Live Cattle for Oct. was Dn $1.60, closing at 180.30. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.67 ½, to finish the day at 243.25. Aug. Class III milk was Up $.75, to settle at 17.46.
