Sneaky Bulls Some people and animals just can't seem to play by the rules. I'm Jeff Keane; I'll be back right after this to explain. Have you ever noticed some people just have to cheat or bend the rules just a little bit to make a game more exciting. Well, I observed some bulls that possessed this same attribute. A few years ago I was at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas and attended the two days of the bucking horse and bull auction. What a bargain a small price for hours of horses and bulls plus pickup horses performing for auction. Most large rodeo companies are also in the market for a fighting bull for their shows you know one for the clown bullfighter to play with and excite the crowd. A lot of these bulls were wiry little corriente-crosses or rejects from the Mexican bull fighting rings. To show off the bulls the rodeo bullfighters used these bulls as a warm up for the bullfighting contest finals. Most average bucking bulls will pay attention to the bullfighter and some will even hit the clown barrel or snort after a bullfighter around the barrel. These little novices did not follow etiquette of any kind. It was almost like they were thinking we want one of these cushy rodeo jobs so we don't need no stinking rules to entertain a crowd. These squirrelly bull athletes didn't chase around a barrel they just jumped over it or dove in it to ferret out the bullfighters. These antics gave a whole new meaning to the words rodeo bullfighter. Most of these bulls found new homes with rodeo companies and I'm sure the bullfighters were thrilled. I'm Jeff Keane.
