This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. The Beef market eased up yesterday, as grain volatility is something traders are keeping an eye on. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 8 ¼, to finish at 7-38 ¼. Dec. Corn was Up ¼, to finish the day at 5-88 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Up 6 ½, to settle at 8-68 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 5, ranging from 7-40 to 7-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Aug. were Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-60. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Aug. were Up 6 ½, ranging from 9-13 ¼ to 9-18 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Aug. were Dn 1 ¼, ranging from 9-42 ½ to 9-52 ½.

Live Cattle for Aug. was Dn $.17 ½, closing at 170.60. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.27 ½, to finish the day at 233.67 ½. July Class III milk was Dn $.49, to settle at 14.86.
