Farm Bureau Highlight: Tulare County

Farm Bureau Highlight: Tulare County

This week I’d like to take some time to walk through the ups and downs this spring has given Tulare County producers.

In this four-part series, we’re going to hear from Tulare County Farm Bureau Executive Director Tricia Stever-Blattler, who does a great job at outlining how one of the top agriculture counties in the nation, is handling one of the most tumultuous springs in modern California history.

For our first episode in this series, here’s a look inside my interview with Tricia.

“It is a big part of the San Joaquin Valley, Tulare County usually ranks in the top three, as one of the three largest agriculture counties in the nation… usually Fresno and Kern county are right in the same mix… regardless of ranking, it’s a pretty impressive and staggering amount of product that are grown here in the South San Joaquin Valley of Central California.”

Thank you Tricia for that introduction, representing Tulare County producers. Make sure to tune in tomorrow for more of me and Tricia’s interview.
