This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Cattle begin to look for direction from the Cash market as prices declined at yesterdays market close. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 9, to finish at 7-40. March Corn was Up 1, to finish the day at 6-56. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Up 10 ½, to settle at 8-22 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 8-40 to 8-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for March were Unch, ranging 8-28 to 8-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for March were Up 10 ½, to settle at 9-42 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were UP 4 ¾, to settle at 9-79 ¼.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Unch, closing at 157.75. March Feeder Cattle were Dn $.95 to finish the day at 185.55. Feb. Class III milk was Up $.19, to settle at 19.29.
