This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Demand picks up once again in the beef market, as exports continue to remain solid. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 17 ¼, to finish at 7-76 ¾. March Corn was Up 10 ¼, to finish the day at 6-22 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Up 17, to settle at 8-64.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 10 - UNCH, ranging from 8-45 to 9-30. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were UNCH, ranging from 8-49 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Up 17, ranging from 9-84 to 10-04. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Up 11 ¾, ranging from 10-07 ¾ to 10-27 ¾.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Up $2.12 ½, closing at 157.70. March Feeder Cattle were Up $.70, to finish the day at 185.72 ½. Jan. Class III milk was Unch, to settle at 18.73.
