From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. USDA’s Risk Management Agency it trying to shine more light on to the subject of crop insurance with a series of virtual and live presentations called the RMA Roadshow.
RMA Administrator, Marcia Bunger says virtual presentations have become more popular in recent years …
BUNGER … “With COVID I think we gained a considerable amount of experience trying to navigate working from home, getting education, getting information out in other ways besides meeting in person. And so, RMA leadership created a workshop series called the RMA Roadshow with that in mind.”
Today’s RMA Roadshow is or was on at 8:00am Pacific Time …
BUNGER … “To go and register, I would encourage folks to go to our RMA website. So, www.rma.usda.gov and click on the RMA Roadshow link on our webpage.”
Flip that around, it’s actually www.rma.usda.gov
But, there’s still time before signup deadline …
BUNGER … “Depending upon your state and county, but generally most sales closed dates for this type of policy are March 15th so there is time to get educated, to ask more questions, to get with your crop insurance agent and have further discussions before the actual deadline.”
