This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Tighter supply and better cash prices drive the cattle market higher. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 8 ¼, to finish at 8-41 ¼. Dec Corn was Dn 2 ¾, to finish the day at 6-78 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 2 ¾, to settle at 9-41 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 35 - Unch, ranging from 8-75 to 9-65. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch – Dn 25, ranging from 8-78 to 9-15. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were Dn 2 ¾, ranging from 10-59 ¾ to 10-94 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Dn 2 ½, ranging from 10-33 ½ to 10-78 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $1.57 ½, closing at 151.35. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Up $.87 ½, to finish the day at 180.07 ½. Nov. Class III milk was Up $.60, to settle at 21.30.
