This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Wheat cooled off after yesterday’s short rally while tensions remain along the Black Sea region. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 11, to finish at 8-67 ¾. Dec Corn was Dn 2 ½, to finish the day at 6-81. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 7 ½, to settle at 9-44 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 9-10 to 9-65. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 25- Unch, ranging from 8-78 to 9-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 7 ½, ranging from 10-64 ½ to 10-94 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Dn ¾, ranging from 10-36 to 10-81.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $.57 ½, closing at 149.77 ½. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Up $1.95, to finish the day at 179.20. Nov. Class III milk was Up $.14, to settle at 20.70.
