We are a hidden paradise. The home of Camp Rainbow Gold in Fairfield, Idaho. Camp Rainbow Gold supports Idaho's children diagnosed with cancer and their families. And we do it through camp programs, a teen support group, college scholarship fund and family events year round. We just started hosting our camps here in 2022 and this is actually our first full summer where we have all five camps coming up and we're actually opening up to other nonprofits. Camp Rainbow Gold is completely dependent on the generosity of our community. We are supported through individuals, grants, corporations and any funding that people want to bring, including in-kind. We have been doing a lot of the work up here through organizations coming up and helping install blinds, new flooring, new water systems. So we're dependent on our community and thankfully our community comes out really generous. We are hosting family camp this weekend and that's a camp where the entire family gets to come up because it's not always just about the child with cancer. That diagnosis impacts all of them. Speaker1: So we formed these family camps so they can all get up here, get out here with nature and just heal, but even more importantly, meet others that understand what they're going through. Family camp is also really important because it's the first time the families are often introduced to Camp Rainbow Gold. So they're able to bring their kids up and have them meet our staff, meet our crews, see what it's like, see where they're sending their kids. Because oftentimes sending a child to camp is a difficult decision for a parent. Imagine if your kid was sick. And so they want to see how their their child's going to be taken care of. So by coming to family camp, we're able to show them what they are sending their child to and realize we've got them, they're safe. We have a campus full of 172 acres full of activities, everything from archery and a low ropes course and an art building. And we have three new bike trails and we're hoping to build we will build a sports court and a really accessible playground and eventually a climbing wall.
