This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Traders continued to find weakness in the cattle market following Geopolitical fears. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day dn 75, to finish at 8-59 ¾. May Corn was dn 34 ½, to finish the day at 6-55 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were dn 75, to settle at 8-81 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 13-50. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for April were Unch, ranging from 10-50 to 11-05. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for April were dn 75, ranging from 10-81 to 11-41. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were dn 60, ranging from 10-60 ¼ to 11-15 ¼.

Live Cattle for April were dn $.37 ½, closing at 141.92 ½. April Feeder Cattle were up $.95 to finish the day at 164.75. March Class III milk was dn $.61 to settle at 21.90.
