I’m Bob Larson. Central Washington ag producers, processors and industry businesses, who also happen to enjoy a day on the golf course, are preparing for another summer of giving back to the community.

Ag World Support Systems president Bryan Henninger says over the past eight years, the Ag World Golf Classics raised over $630,000 …

HENNINGER … “Our Ag World Golf Classic that we bring the Columbia Basin Agricultural Community, with hosts Simplot, Lamb Weston, McCain Foods, Potato Growers of Washington and Ag World Support Systems, together to support the Ronald McDonald House of the Inland Northwest based in Spokane.”

And even last year with the pandemic …

HENNINGER … “Last year was our eighth year of doing it and we raised over $118,000 for “the House” at our golf tournaments.”

And, Henninger says coming up this summer …

HENNINGER … “And this coming year will be our ninth annual tournament, and we’ll be hosting two of those again this year, one at the Canyon Lakes Golf Course in Kennewick on June 14th, and the other one in Moses Lake at the Links at Moses Point on June 16th.”

So, Henninger says if you like to golf and to give …

HENNINGER … “For more information on how you can be a sponsor or play, just go to www.agworldgolf.com … all the information is there.”

Tune in tomorrow for more on the Ag World Golf Classic … or, like he said, go to www.agworldgolf.com
