This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Grains found support in the market moving through the middle of the week with a nice rally. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day up 14 ¾, to finish at 7-56. Dec. Corn was up 13 ¾, to close at 5-57 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were up 5 ½, to settle at 7-82 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 10-25 to 13-75. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Dec. was Unch, ranging from 10-25 to 11-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Dec. were up 5 ½, ranging from 9-32 ¾ to 9-62 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were up 3 ¾, ranging from 11-40 ½ to 11-62.

Live Cattle for Dec. were up $.12 ½, closing at 131.57 ½. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $1.65, to finish the day at 158.95. Dec. Class III milk was up $.11, to settle at 18.71.
