This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cattle continued to show signs of weakness to finish the week, while volatility in the market continues. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day up 29 ¾ to finish at 7-55 ¼. Dec. Corn was up 4 ¾, to close at 5-41 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were up 27 ¾, to settle at 7-59 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were up 25 - Unch, ranging from 9-75 to 12-60. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein for Nov. were up 23 - Unch, ranging from 9-75 to 10-37. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein for Nov. were up 27 ¾, ranging from 9-09 ½ to 9-34 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were up 16 ½, ranging from 10-69 to 10-71.

Live Cattle for Dec. were dn $.52 ½, closing at 125.20. Nov. Feeder cattle were Unch, to finish the day at 152.90. Nov. Class III milk was dn $.06 to settle at 18.20.
