Daniel Napp and his teaching partner Kurt are agriculture instructors at Hagerman High School. And they’ve teamed up in a unique way. Here’s Dan: I took and I taught kids how to make and produce the product, but I didn't teach them how to process the product or prepare them for any food science and processing. And so about five or six years ago, our story started when I reached out to Kurt and I said, hey, the jobs in this valley is all about processing food. I know nothing about processing food. Would you help me?

So every kid should be in FFA. When I was a kid, it was for the farm kids. Now the city kids need to be in their worse. Farm kids shovel poop for a living. They got work ethic. So it's all I have. And I hope just to be able to teach that, you know what we're after Mr. Knapp gets home and I get him here, take that product and show them what we can do with this. You know, it's all fresh ingredients. So, yes, we do a lot of wild game. We've been filming the students have a YouTube channel. Plus CSI through social media is offering dual credit with two different directions, with the editing and the marketing, the web design, that kind of thing. It's just it's blowing me away how this thing is moving out and we share what you know, people will be able to go to our website, pull up a recipe, and here's six to 12 minute video on how to make it like my new cookbook’s got over a thousand recipes, give it away, all fresh ingredients.
