With today’s Fruit Grower Report, I’m Bob Larson. It’s a little less than a month away, but there is still time to dust off your clubs and get registered for the 8th Annual Ag World Golf Classic.

Ag World CEO, Bryan Henninger says it’s a great opportunity to help support the Ronald McDonald House in Spokane, a home away from home for the families of children with serious, often life-threatening, conditions …

HENNINGER … “If you’re associated with the agricultural industry of the Columbia Basin in any way, this is a great opportunity to just get together and see people and support this great cause. You can also call and talk to my sister, Melanie Finch at our office, which is (509) 765-0698.”

But, Henninger says space is limited …

HENNINGER … “That is true. We’re getting the course filled up and we’d love to have you join us. We do still have space now, but hopefully I’ll be able to come on line and tell you, there’s only sponsorship opportunities here in the near future. But yes, please come out and join us.”

And, Henninger says when you get down to it, it’s a great cause for the community …

HENNINGER … “The Columbia Basin accounts for about 50% of the usage of that Ronald McDonald House. So, we are doing this to help support our own people here in the Columbia Basin because Spokane’s the closest major hospital for all of us here in the Columbia Basin and that Ronald McDonald House space there is there to serve us.”

Go to to register or to find out how you could become a sponsor for the 8th Annual Ag World Golf Classic June 8th and 10th in Kennewick and Moses Lake.
