Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and today our program is about Traveling with Food and Wine in mind. Recently I was listening to a Public Service announcement about the visit of one of my favorite wine guru's Ann Noble. She is the creator of the wine aroma wheel. Her seminars will be taking place at the Wine Experience, a Wine Center located in North Central Washington state. I had never heard of the place and I decided to do some investigating. Located between Leavenworth and Wenatchee in Cashmere Washington, the Columbia Cascade Winery Association has created a unique Wine Center. The center opened late last year sometime in late November. The venue is not only an Information Center but is also host to many special events, one of which is the March 30th & 31st series of wine seminars with Ann Noble, being presented by Washington State University. Dr. Ann Noble, Emeritus Professor of Enology at the University of California, Davis, is an internationally known expert in wine sensory analysis and is the creator of the Wine Aroma Wheel. The seminars should be outstanding! I would encourage anyone who is truly interested in wine to attend. The program, which last two days, has a different workshop focus each day and a dinner on the evening of the 30th. The number of dinner attendees is limited.
