Potato Expo Virtual Pt 3
I’m Bob Larson. We’re just five days away from the Virtual Potato Expo that potato folks from around the nation and the world take part in annually, albeit typically in a live format. And if taking part in a virtual, online trade show sounds too high tech for your comfort level, National Potato Council CEO Kam Quarles says the format is user friendly …
QUARLES … “You’re absolutely right! If it’s too technically complicated, not only for attendees, I might not be able to get into my session to run the thing because I’m not exactly a computer wizard. So, I think it’s going to be fine. Hollee recognizes my technical limitations so she’s way out in front of that.”
And, Vice President of Industry Relations, Hollee Alexander says it’s not too late to register …
ALEXANDER … “Yep! There’s still time to register. You can register on our website at www.potato-expo.com and we look forward to seeing everybody there.”
Quarles says he hopes to see numbers like those they’ve become used to at the live Expos…
QUARLES … “We would love to see those similar kinds of numbers with Expo. We’re not going to know, obviously, up until the day that it kicks off because that’s, you know, typically how registrations go. If you don’t have to worry about booking flight reservations then you can push that registration up until the last minute.”
It’s not too late, go to www.potato-expo.com to register or for more information.
