Yesterday, during National Ag Day, AgGrad announced the second annual 30 under 30 in agriculture. The distinction, now in its second year, recognizes people across the nation making a big impact on agriculture early in their career.

Eight Californians were on that list of thirty, including:

Casey Call, Head Grower at Plenty

Tony Lopes, Operations Team Leader at Tony L. Lopes Dairy

Alexander Chuck, Chief Financial Officer at Pharm Robotics

Tyler Nuss, Purchasing Manager at Rivian in California and Co-Founder of The Modern Acre

Zane Peterson, Owner and Manager of Peterson Timber, Inc

Matthew Malcolm, Managing Editor at Malcolm Media Ag Publishing

Tristan Hudak Vice President of Ag Biotech, Inc.

Sarah Hulick Grower Innovation at Full Harvest in California

Nominations were collected early this winter across six categories: production agriculture, innovation & technology, agribusiness, education & advocacy, sustainability and food security, and entrepreneurship.

Winners will be featured in a print and digital magazine as well as promoted on AgGrad’s blog, podcast, and social media. They will have access to an exclusive network now 60 people strong to build relationships with like-minded ambitious young professionals in agriculture.
