Ag World Golf Classic Pt 2
Ag World CEO Warren Henniger it's been a great event that's drawn a lot of support...
HENNIGER ... "Yes, we have and it's amazing how it's brought the ag community and the suppliers of all kinds of different products that service the ag industry together. And, you know, the first five years that we've had it we generated $326,000 and we're looking forward to another good year this year. Our sponsors and host have been a lot and our teams for golf filled up in early April with 144 players and it's really exciting and we're hoping to do even better this year."
Henniger says it's just a very good feeling ...
HENNIGER ... "We're just excited to be able to give back to a worthy cause like the Ronald McDonald House and, you know, having a grandson with some medical needs really increased my desire to do this and it's exciting. I feel real blessed to be able to lead the charge and it's brought the whole ag community together here in the Columbia Basin."
Thanks to the generosity of 118 donors and sponsors and 144 golfers, last year's event raised over $91,000 for the Ronald McDonald House. Henniger says he hopes to top that total this year. For more information on the tournament and online auction, just go to www.agworldgolf.com
