Taste Washington Pt 2
With today's Fruit Grower Report, I'm Bob Larson. Over the years, Washington has become world renown for the wines made here. So much so, in fact, that celebrations of our wine prowess are common. But none as big as Taste Washington which is coming this weekend.2019 marks the 22nd year of Taste Washington, a food and wine lovers' wonderland at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, March 28th thru 30th.
Taste Washington offers the most wine and food under one roof with more than 235 wineries and 65 restaurants.
Washington Wine's Heather Bradshaw says this year's event comes with some new twists ...
BRADSHAW ... "So, Taste Washington is really upping the game this year with a really fantastic lineup of chefs from around Seattle and around the nation. So, take a look at the Taste Washington website for all the updates there."
Bradshaw says it all kicks off Friday ...
BRADSHAW ... "The New Vintage" on Friday night is a Taste Washington event and that's being held at a brand-new space, The Sanctuary in downtown Seattle and that's going to be super elevated, really great energy and amazing chef lineup at that event. So, that's definitely something that stands out."
And, she says they're bringing back a favorite from last year ...
BRADSHAW ... "We also have the Sunday Brunch this year which, this is the second year for the Sunday Brunch, but it's going to be really, really fantastic."
So, Bradshaw says if you love Washington wine and great food, then you really only have one thing to do ...
BRADSHAW ... "Get out and Taste Washington Wine this month. It's a perfect time to do it."
