Dollar Finishes Stronger
This is Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for Dec. 20th. The dollar starting the morning off slightly weaker, finishing stronger as market come to a close. Here's Scott Shellady from the floor of the CME in Chicago to explain more on the grain markets.

As we take a look at those Chicago markets, July wheat prices closed the day dn 1 ½, at 433 ¼. Chicago July Corn prices were dn 3, to close friday at 368. Prices in Portland for Soft White Winter Wheat of ordinary protein for April were dn 11 ¼ - 3 ¾, ranging from 4-45 ½ to 4-58. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.5 % protein, future prices for April were dn ¾, ranging from 5-05 ¾ to 5-10 ¾. DNS Wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were dn 2, ranging from
6-48 ¾ to 6-63 ¾. April Live Cattle closed the day up 52 ½ cents, at 114.15. April Feeder cattle were up 55 cents, at 126.10. Feb. class III milk was up 19 cents at 17-28.
