I'm Bob Larson. Several groups in the 4th Congressional District in Central Washington are throwing their support to 'the challenger' instead of the incumbent.

Clint Didier lost by the narrowest of margins in 2014, but hopes this new support leads to a reversal of fortunes in next week's election

CLINT DIDIER ... "It's a little bit humbling, I'm telling you, because people are fed up with career politicians and this establishment group that enabled Dan Newhouse to get elected. And then he just goes back and enables this administration, the Obama Administration, to further their agenda. We have to put up constraints, and the House never hands over the purse strings to any Presidency."

Didier says he's been getting a lot of messages that his campaign website may have been hacked, but he says that's not quite right ...

CLINT DIDIER ... "It didn't get renewed, the subscription didn't get renewed so it got put out there and some Chinese group bought it and of course they buy them and they try and sell them back to you. They were trying to fleece me for money so we created a new site and I encourage everybody, it's pretty simple to find, it's just Clint, C-L-I-N-T, the number 4, Congress dot org. Clint4Congress.org."

Republican groups in Benton, Franklin, Douglas and Okanogan counties are endorsing Didier, along with the Sheriff's in both Franklin and Benton counties.

Also a Republican, Dan Newhouse beat Didier in 2014, 50.8% to 49.2%.
