Didier 4 Farmers Pt1

I'm Bob Larson. He lost by the narrowest of margins two years ago, but Clint Didier is a fighter and says he's determined to claim that 4th District U.S. Congressional seat currently held by Dan Newhouse.

Didier says he wants to hold government agencies like the EPA accountable for allowing assaults like the 'What's Upstream' campaign that's targeting the small farmer ...

CLINT DIDIER ... "We're all under assault. The waters of the United States, the federal government's trying to grab all the waters. The states need to tell them, 'back off,' the 10 Amendment, state's rights supersede the federal government. This is not the federal government's water. In fact, I've got to remind the people, who created who? Did the federal government create the 13 colonies or did the 13 colonies create the federal government?"

Didier says he has two sons who want to carry on the family farming tradition, and it's getting harder and harder to accomplish ...

CLINT DIDIER ... "That's the point of this, is that we want to continue the small family farms. We want everyone to have a shot at the dream. It seems like everything is moving into the corporate world and we know quality. Quality and production of food comes from the small farmer, not the big farmer. And so, we're looking to try and preserve this for our children, our grandchildren, every generation to come. Is that they may have their shot. If they want to be an American farmer, that avenue is available to them here in America."
