Taste of Elegance Event to Benefit CO FFA Foundation

On April 30th, the Taste of Elegance — which is a fund raiser for the Colorado FFA Foundation will happen in Greeley. The event will feature a six course pork tasting menu and a sampling of Colorado wine and beer. The pork dishes will be prepared by chef members of the Colorado Association of Chefs and will feature a pork tasting contest with winners being determined the evening of the event and judged by attendees. Colorado FFA Foundation Executive Director Don Thorn shares more details
Thorn: “it’s a great event. Anyone who has been to them — we kinda of have a following for it. It is a great way to get connected and to have all of this great food made and presented by these big chefs. Then have a great big beautiful venue. It’s really a positive event that is only few hours of their time. So that is April 30th it starts at 5:30.”
Thorn says the foundation really appreciates the sponsors of the event
Thorn: “The Colorado FFA Foundation is the charity partner of the event. Thanks to the Colorado Pork Producers Council and the Chefs Association for helping put this on and asking us to be the charity partner.”
If you are interested in learn more or attending this event, he says
Thorn: “They want to go to coloradoffafoundation.org. Right on the front homepage is an icon that says Taste of Elegance, click on that and that takes them to registration and they can sign up to pay and they can get the information they need.”
