Region V CattleWomen Meeting

At the end of April CattleWomen from around the region will be in Richland, Washington, for the annual CattleWomen’s Region V meeting on April 28th through the 30th. If you are a CattleWomen member, you should consider attending this very worthwhile event. Washington CattleWomen president Linda Henderson shares more details
Henderson: “It is just a great opportunity for ladies from other regions to come together for the common purpose and for good meetings and camaraderie and fellowship, really.”
Henderson continues with more of what the agenda holds
Henderson: “We have Miss Rodeo America coming and we are pretty excited about that. Toni Meecham will speak on some on water rights issues. The state veterinarian will be there. Dawn Nelson who is an author and a rancher. She will be talking about her new books and doing some book signings.”
In addition to the usual speakers and fellowship, at this meeting there will be a unique art contest —- a salt block sculpture contest. To show off your herd’s artistic ability.
