Sweet Pro Products Distributor Ron Morganthaler shares more about his company's supplement blocks that enhance the digestibility of forages for cattle.

Morganthauler: "We do this without adding any sugars or starches to our block. So there is no molasses in the block. By using Sweet Pro blocks you get away from the starch and sugar interference or antagonist towards digesting fiber. So we enhance fiber digestion not only just with the protein in the block and the vegetable oils we use for energy — balancing that out. But we go beyond that and beyond the chelated minerals and the vitamins. We introduce product called ProBiotein — now the benefit of ProBiotein for someone feeding forages is that whenever you are utilizing forages if they are dry or mature 50 percent passes through undigested at the minimum. That 50 percent has a lot of protein and has a lot of energy in it.
