I'm Tom Allen with the Market Line Report for the 18th. Surprisingly the grain market has been holding up well even with the turmoil going on in China. Cattle prices are starting to pull back. We go to reporter Greg Sanders with the livestock market review. Chicago March Wheat prices ended the day up 5, at 473. March corn ended yesterday up 5 1/4, at 363 1/4. Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for Jan. were up 1 1/4, ranging from 5-30 to 5-33. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Jan. were up 5 1/2, ranging from 5-59 to 5-69. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were up 4 3/4, ranging from 6-02 to 6-22.Feb. live cattle closed the day dn $3.00, at 127.57 1/2. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $4.50, at 154.30. Jan. class III milk was up 2, at 13-78.
