Grain Markets Took A Bit Of A Bounce
Grain Market took a bounceI’m Susan Allen with the Market Line Report for Thursday November 5th. The grain market took a bit of a bounce. Todd Horwitz shares his observations from the floor of the CME.
Horwitz - “Wednesday saw higher prices pretty much all across the board we see a turnaround we see wheat, unbelievable nice move off that $5 buck level “boom” running through the stops forcing out now again these markets I don’t think are going to go straight up nor are they going straight down I o still believe the long side is the right side to be on but you have to wait for your opportunity.”
Chicago December Wheat ended yesterday up 9 3/4, at 525 and 1/2. December corn ended, at 380.
Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for December, were up 8.50-1.25, at mostly 5.7500-5.7625. White Club Wheat prices for November were up 9.75-unch at 5.6625-5.7500. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for December were up 5.25, at mostly 5.9775-6.0775 . DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for December were up 4.50 at mostly 6.3925-6.7425.
December live cattle closed yesterday down $3.00, at 137.22. November Feeder cattle were down $4.50, at 186.15 November class III milk was down 16 cents, at 15-42.
