Livestock Numbers Looking Dim For Spring

I’m Matt Rice with the Market Line Report for September 23rd. The livestock market looks to be gaining but signs could be pointing to bigger drops by this upcoming spring. Todd Horwitz shares his thoughts with Bubbatrading.com, from the floor of the CME.

Chicago December Wheat ended yesterday down 1 1/4, at 494 3/4. December corn ended the day down 4 even, at 380.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for September, were up 2, at mostly 5-45 1/2. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for September were down 2 1/2, at mostly 5-90. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for September were down 1 1/4 at mostly 6-40. October live cattle closed yesterday down $1.37 1/2, at 135.62 1/2. October Feeder cattle were down 62 ½ cents, at 187.05. October class III milk was up 2 cents, at 15-48.
