Sanders “This week in the Northwest we had a little over 2650 feeder cattle trade compared to last Friday. Feeder cattle were mixed, fall calf contacts were week in a light test. Yearlings for current delivery were firm. Trade was slow with light to moderate demand in response in part to lower CME prices and a depressed slaughter cattle market this week. ”
Chicago December Wheat was up, at around 487 1/4. December corn down 3/4, at near 379.
Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein for September, were unchanged to at mostly 5-35. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for September were a mixed market, at 5.7400 to 5.8900. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for September were 6.2375 to 6.5375. October live cattle were down, at 136.07 1/2. October Feeder cattle were down at 184.900. October class III milk was up at 15-86.
