Hi I’m Susan Allen and this is today’s Market Line Report for Monday July 13 with a recap of last week’s cattle market by Greg Sanders of the USDA. Thursday in the Texas Panhandle a light to moderate demand a few early lives sales have traded staged two dollars higher than last week at $1.50. Trading has been limited on light demand in Kansas a few early live sales have traded at $1.50 with a few at a dress basis but not enough to establish a market. Trading was light Thursday at light to moderate demand in Nebraska a few early lives sales have traded at $1.50 to $1.51 but not enough to establish a market. Trading remained at a standstill Thursday in Colorado on light demand.

Chicago September Wheat ended Wednesday down 2 at 575.

September corn ended the day up 6 at 434 1/2.

Portland prices for soft white wheat of ordinary protein was down 3 1/2 and for August delivery of new crop, was down 2-37 mostly 6.39.

White Club wheat of 10.5 % protein was up down 2-22 at mostly 7-09.

August New crop Hard Red Winter wheat with 11.5 percent protein, was down 7 .August new crop DNS wheat with 14 percent protein prices was down 11 1/2 ranging 6.9750-7.1250. August live cattle were down $1.00 at 147. 1/2. August Feeder cattle were down $.20 cents at 211.55 August class III milk was down .0 5 cents at 16-56.
