Beef Counts Wins With Idaho Steelheads' Beef Night

Idaho Beef Council’s Executive Director Traci Bracco shares more details of an exciting hockey event which will promote beef and help to feed the hungry.
Bracco: “Saturday, January 17th is Beef Night on the Ice at the Idaho Steelheads. This is one of the many consumer events we do to raise awareness about beef and Idaho’s beef industry here in the state. All night long we are going to celebrate all things beef. Starting with the first 500 people in the door will receive cow bells that night so we are going to make it loud in there and ring some cow bells. We are going to have half-off the Double R Ranch burgers all night long. So everybody gets to enjoy a tasty burger for half-off. We are going to have prizes and contest going on throughout the evening.”
So not only is the night to promote beef and the beef industry but it will also be helping the hungry as well.
Bracco: “If you go through the ticket website with the Idaho Steelheads website, $15 includes a Double R Ranch hotdog , soft drink and bag of chips. But the great thing about going through that website to actually purchase the ticket — not only is it specially discounted but $5 of every ticket is going to our industry’s Beef Counts campaign with Idaho Food Bank. It’s the campaign we do to help feed food scarce Idahoan and provide them with nutrient rich beef.”
