Manufacturers of unmanned aerial systems will be among many companies exhibiting their precision aerial technology at the Precision Aerial Ag Show, scheduled for July 9 & 10 at Progress City USA, Decatur, Ill. The technology show is drawing global interest from exhibitors and attendees, who will be watching the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the air and real-time video output. I spoke with Precision Aerial Ag Show spokesperson, Mark Avery. “Anybody who has a farm and is interested in yield would be well served to come and learn and listen, correct? Yes. We have people who have bought tickets to the show from all over the country. We have a huge livestock company that has a number of livestock operations out of Dallas that are coming in. They can use drones to keep an eye on their livestock. It is interesting that you just mentioned livestock. When I think of drones I typically think of producers who are growing crops. But this could supplant the need to ride senses couldn’t it? Absolutely. He can use a drone to check his fences.
