Grains mixed. I'm David Sparks sitting in for KayDee Gilkey with the Market Line Report for December 20, 2013.March wheat futures closed 1/2 a cent to two cents per bushel lower than yesterday's closes.
Bids for US 1 Soft White Wheat delivered to Portland during December trended two cents per bushel lower than yesterday's noon bids. Bids were pressured by the lower Chicago March wheat futures.
Bids for 11.5 percent protein US 1 Hard Red Winter Wheat for December delivery trended one cent per bushel lower than yesterday's noon bids.
Bids for 14 percent protein US 1 Dark Northern Spring Wheat for December delivery trended mixed, from 0.50 of a cent lower to 4.50 cents per bushel higher than yesterday's noon bids for the same delivery period.
Bids for US 2 Yellow Corn delivered to Portland and the Yakima Valley were not available.
February live cattle were up Thursday by 75 cents at 133.10. January Feeder cattle were up 80 cents at 166.85. January class III milk was up 22 cents at 19.44.
