 This coming Sunday is Easter. Believe me, we are a full service operation here at the Ag Information Network. Not only do we give you all the agricultural news that is fit to speak, but we also supply you with menu suggestions on important holidays. Hah.

 In preparation for the Easter holiday, I got on the phone with the Executive Director of the Idaho Beef Council, Traci Bracco and she had an alternative to what I have been used to on Easter most of my life, which is ham. Traci has another choice. “ Some upcoming things that we have going on here at the Idaho Beef Council, Easter is just around the corner. We are trying to encourage people serve prime rib this Easter. Start a new tradition with your family. Easter dinner being brought to you by beef. In each of our Eastern Idaho Broulim’s grocery stores, we are doing a promotion with them and they are featuring prime rib for the Easter holidays. It is a great chance to get consumers to think of another protein during the holidays.”
