3-7 SS Eastman's TV

The Eastmans go hunting on TV.  Ike and Guy Eastman have an excellent TV show on the Outdoor Channel which is a marvelous complement to the Eastman’s Hunting Journals. They go all over the world and show us  the excitement of hunting responsibly in fair chase situations. Those TV shows don’t just appear out of nowhere. They are a lot of hard work as we are about to learn from cameraman and assistant producer Jon Adams. “Generally we carry 2 or 3 cameras with us it we can. It does not end at the end of the day. we will get done hunting and everybody will be back in camp and we will be out doing time lapses of the stars at night and then we have to come back and get everything ready for the next day making sure batteries are charged and all that kind of stuff. The hunt is not what you would imagine it  to be for me. I don’t know if you have ever met Guy but trying to keep up with him is tough. He is tall and has long legs and can cover a lot of ground pretty rapidly. I am not as tall and it is  pretty tough to keep up with him sometimes. I found out when I started that you had to be in pretty decent shape. when you are hunting and carrying a rifle all you have to do is cite in on the target and hold for about 1 min. When you are  filming you have to do the as steady as possible for a lot longer.”
