Getting Better Results for Tree Fruit

Getting Better Results for Tree Fruit. I’m Greg Martin with today’s Fruit Grower Report.

Making sure your trees have an adequate food supply is important to your crop. Nick Bancroft, Vice President of Operational Development for Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers discusses their products and how they can help fruit growers in the Pacific Northwest.

BANCROFT: A healthy tree makes a good crop and we provide products, nutritional solutions for growers that help their trees get to production faster, produce more consistently, have better storage throughout the season.

Better returns mean a better bottom line.

BANCROFT: Absolutely. That’s what it means for growers. They’re most concerned with producing a good, high quality product that is marketable and we can help them do that by providing nutrition that can be applied in many different ways.

Bancroft talks about the specific products Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers offers.

BANCROFT: We have a couple of products geared specifically towards tree production and one is Woody Plants and Trees which can be applied with any other foliar applications or through the drip line. We also have a product called Phase Two which promotes good lateral growth in trees helping people get to production faster. Our products are unique in the market. We can provide the full NPK micronutrient solution. Our recommendation structure applies typically about 60% of the typical nutrient applications receiving 100% of the yield that would be expected. So we’re applying less product and achieving better results.
