9-24 FB Diana Resigns

I recently received an e-mail from old friend Diana Caldwell and I will read it to you.

Hi All:

As most of you already know, I am retiring as administrator of the Idaho Bean Commission at the end of this month. This email is to introduce my replacement, Lacey Menasco. Lacey comes to the commission from the Idaho State Department of Agriculture where she held the position of Trade Specialist in the Marketing Division. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Masters in Agricultural Economics in 2005. Her broad agricultural experience and outgoing personality made Lacey a natural choice for the administrator position. The Agricultural Department’s loss is definitely the commission’s gain, and I know you’ll enjoy working with Lacey in the future.

When asked what I plan to do when I retire, someone suggested that I say, “Not work!”, and for a few months that is probably what I’ll do. But I’m very excited and have a very long list of activities including travel, planned.

All future communication with the commission should be addressed to Lacey. Please make a note of her contact information.

Diana Caldwell

I called Lacey,  and she very succinctly described her responsibilities to me:  “Administratively oversee the business of the commission.”
