9-4 FB IBC Fall

9-4 FB IBC Fall

The Idaho Beef Council has some very nice events coming up in September to let folks know about nutritious, delicious beef.

I talked with the Executive Director of the Idaho Beef Council, Traci Bracco, just the other day to find out what exciting events they have planned in the very near future. The IBC works very hard on behalf of the great beef producers in our state to let the general public now about the importance of beef in their daily nutrition decisions. Here is Traci: “Fall is a busy time at the Beef Council for our consumer programs. Each year we conduct on behalf of the Idaho Beef Check off about 40 to 45 consumer-based programs. A couple of the things that are coming up include the St. Luke’s Women’s Celebration Expo which is September 20 and 21st. The IBC will be there serving samples and interacting with about 14,000 consumers over the 2 days. Also in September we have our annual cowboy cookout at Broulim’s Grocery Store. It is kind of a twofold event: one to educate consumers about where beef comes from so we actually have beef producers barbecuing in the parking lot and serving up samples and then inside the grocery store, people can go in and there are some great deals on beef this year, I think they’re going to be sirloin steaks and T-bone steaks on special and again that is September 29 and this year’s location is going to be held at the Broulim’s Grocery Store in Rigby From 11 AM until 2 PM.
