 Top level Farm Service Agency administrator visits Idaho for the 1st time.

Top level Farm Service Agency administrator Juan Garcia visited Idaho recently and quite frankly, I was as impressed with him as he was with Idaho’s agricultural community. I had a fun discussion with him which follows: “how are you? It has been great this morning, we have been looking at agriculture here in the Valley and it is a beautiful, beautiful area. Welcome to Idaho. Thank you it is my 1st time here and it is a gorgeous area. There is so much diverse city in the agricultural industry here. I’m inside growing. I have seen some sugar beets along with the large sugarbeet production here, I’ve seen processing plants, mint. It is my 1st time to ever see hops grow and that was a very interesting crop to see since I had never been familiar with it. The vineyard areas here I just gorgeous. I am originally from Texas and we have vineyards in Texas but these are beautiful vineyards here. With all due respect, and being from Texas, and having the last name Garcia, have you ever drunk a hop related product called cerveza? I might’ve tried it once (  laughter).
