 Mike Eastman, founder of the Eastman hunting and fishing publications, comes by his expertise honestly. He has hunted, guided and filmed all over the United States and when he decided to go to Tanzania he learned he had to get his PH which stands for professional hunter. “I actually just went over to Tanzania to take a Cape buffalo and I knew a guy over there and he was PHing it’s called and so I booked a hunt with them and went over and took a buffalo and I liked it so well I went over to that one area where it’s got the  biggest buffalo in Africa and became a buffalo connoisseur. You have to apprentice for 2 to 3 years before you get your PH so I was kind a doing that and then coming back here in the fall. I was over there for 5 years and I got charged several times. I hunted and filmed buffalo, lions, elephants and I have been charged a number of times. It gets pretty Western over there.
