4-17 SS Ruger 22

 I get a kick out of shooting with a pistol. That is something that is of great interest to a lot of outdoorsmen and I have had dandy for you . I always find it fun to watch those guys on ESPN and the Outdoor Channel who specialize in shooting pistols. I guess it brings back the flavor of the old West. At all of the sportsman’s shows there is a range that is set up and you see these guys doing QuickDraw competitions and it just looks like fun. Well I did a little  homework and found a pistol that merchants say is flying off the shelves. Here is  Anthony, the guns and ammunition manager at a sportsman’s warehouse talking about the Ruger SR 22. “It’s an SR 22. That has been one of the most exciting things. We don’t even get to put them on the shelves before they are already taken.  Guys I just plinking with them, shooting targets, shooting cans. $319 for a well-made pistol that has interchangeable grips and guys I just excited to have something that is built so well and costs so little money. We got a new Browning 22 pistol just a little while back, it’s not half the gun and its $520. If a guy wants teach his kids how to shoot a pistol correctly and safely, shooting targets and shooting for score, that pistol is absolutely perfect. It functions flawlessly and is priced perfect.
