3-5 SS Wolf Writer

 I recently did a story on wolves and as usual I got a response. This time from a guy the name of Will who is writing a book on wolves. “Ranchers and a lot of people are telling me that wolves eye decimating the elk population and the deer populations and then I go to Fish and game and they say that elk populations in Idaho and Montana are bigger than they have ever been so you wonder who you can believe.” Well the fastest way to get an answer to that question is to go to an expert in the form of Ed  “the Wolfman Bangs” who worked for fish and game in Montana. “Some herds have been impacted by wolf predation and other things. Overall populations are up but a lot of populations that are expanding rapidly are places that had ag and either no or low numbers of wolves. So out have not been decimated by wolves but elk have been affected by wolves in some herds. It’s all how you perceive it.
