 The Mission Statement for the Oregon Hunters Association reads: "To Provide an abundant huntable wildlife resource in Oregon for present and future generations, enhancement of wildlife habitat and protection of hunter's rights. Their current focus is ensuring sound and scientific management of all huntable wildlife species." President Fred Craig spoke to me at the recent, and very busy Sportsman’s Show in Portland, OR.  “There are about 20,000 people in Oregon and 27 chapters And we are into helping kids get started in the sport. We help with habitat, we help with moving elk around and different species around into the state, Rocky Mountain sheep. We are into the safety portion of it, we are into promoting the habitat for the animals in Oregon. I notice you are having a raffle. Let’s say you sold 1000 tickets. Where would the money go?  This money is used for youth shooting sports.
