Filthy fish from Vietnam. You will not believe what you might be eating.

If you are wondering why  we should all embrace at least some aspects of the locovore movement, meaning knowing  exactly who is producing your food and under what circumstances, take note of the experiences of catfish aquaculture asked Chip Holmes’ observations. We send the PhD’s over to China to show them how to grow fish, , it is a good fish but we don’t know so much about the chemicals they use. The fish out of Vietnam is a totally different story. They call it a catfish, it is a fish, but that Mecong Delta is so huge, so many people live there, and this is factual, not opinion but you can read story after story if you care to research, all of those people who live in those floating homes on the Delta have fish tanks under the house. And it is right under the toilet. Now they subsidize those fish with feed but it is filthy. That is not known by the people who buy those catfish. Most of the time it’s chain restaurants but some of the restaurants if they haven’t done their research will buy these fish.
