Idaho Beef Producers Cevin Jones, Eden, ID, Dan Schiffler, Jerome, ID, and Judy Woodie, Emmett , ID were named to leadership positions at the May 31-June 1st Idaho Beef Council (IBC) meeting in Boise, ID.

Jones, elected Chairman of the IBC, is a feeder out of Eden, Idaho and represents cattle feeders. Here is chairman Jones: “I don’t see any sweeping changes for the Idaho Beef Council. I think what we are going to do is continue on with the programs we are doing and evaluate new opportunities as they present themselves, we have a great staff in Idaho and we can be very proud of the work they are doing. The staff that we have has actually implemented some programs that have been implemented in other states that are following our lead. Some of the programs have been picked up nationally. The Ironman is one of our premier functions. We started that a few years ago. We have a big Ironman race in Boise. The idea is that beef is healthy right? Absolutely believe it is healthy.
