NFL And HSUS A Sick Combination
If you judge society by what we value...we look pretty darn sick . I’m Susan Allen this is Open Range The underbelly of the horse industry isn’t any different than dog fighting rings each are filled with individuals that have that have been slapped with paltry fines for destroying animals and want back in. And if you are lucky to be gifted at something like throwing a football the public has a short memory. Ah but cash helps. Stay tuned. How quickly we forgot the photos of convicted felon Michael Vicks abused dogs meaning Wayne Pacelle the CEO of the Humane Society of The United States, must have Alzheimer’s because he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that convicted dog fighter Michael Vick “would do a good job as a pet owner.” What? Again exposing the true colors of the Humane Society of the US a group not affiliated with local pet shelters. Humanewatch.org ran a full page ad in the New York Times appalled by the fact that the Eagles, (as a Vick PR ploy) wrote a hefty $50,000 check to the group . Humanewatch.org is urging donors who love dogs to withdrawal pledges from the Humane Society of the US. In my opinion this also makes professional football look pretty ugly, but when you are on track to be the this year’s MVP the fact you get a kick out of torturing dogs doesn’t matter a mite to sports writers. Ah but would you really want your ten year old wearing Vicks jersey? Eagles coach Andy Reid has been whining that poor Michael is not receiving equal treatment from officials on late/illegal hits. He is just lucky I’m not on the field! I’m Susan Allen for OpenRange.
